New Pants for Me

So I was in the biggest rush last night trying to get ready for a Cooking Spree event that I was participating in when my preparation came to a halt. I had neatly ironed my largest pair of nicer pants that I own and I went to put them on. Fitting well, but oh no, wait. Uhhhhuh. Nope. Wont button anymore. DAMN! "I swear these fit last week and I am not kidding." Meanwhile, my husband is dying laughing at me as I am determined to make these fit. I'm late! What else was I supposed to do. However, I was saved by the belly bands! I love these things! I have been using them to wear about half of my pants and now apparently I have to use them on ALL of my pants. It is kind of a bummer, really. But exciting at the same time... I will finally look pregnant soon!

There is another unfortunate story about yesterday though... So, we started a new cooking class with some elderly women at the YMCA. While we were cooking, one came up to me and asked what I did for exercise.(probably so she could be sure to avoid what I was doing since it obviously wasnt working) I said, well I used to run, lift weights, etc... but now I really just do some walking because I am pregnant. She replied, "Oh! I was looking at you earlier and I thought it was strange that you had a belly as a dietitian!" GREAT! Now I'm just fat! Thanks.

All kidding aside, I am so happy to be pregnant and I cant wait to be able to hold this baby in my arms.
