Easter

Beau and I now split church on Sunday's, which is somewhat sad to sit there by yourself, but a necessity when your son is a ticking time bomb in restrictive situations and there is no "cry room" available. Hope did tag along with me this morning to Easter mass, and I always feel weird being there alone with a child... so I make sure to leave the house with my wedding ring on. ;)
We got up and AL got a real surprise when he found out the Easter Bunny came and left him a basket full of crayons and play-dough. (Surprising because prior to 8 am this morning we had not even mentioned the visitor) Unfortunately I dont have pictures of the egg-hunt that followed, but rest assured it was thrilling. Al sought out the carefully "hidden" eggs and was thrilled to find an animal cracker in each one! Now animal crackers must always come from the trap of an Easter egg; great.

We went to the MAC for brunch with all the Reinbergs and got a family picture, much to Al's dismay.

Look how pretty our baby girl looks today! This is a dress my dad brought back for her from Venice. Hope found Emily extremely soothing...There was a petting zoo at the MAC and Al became obsessed with the giant turtle, of all things. I hope this doesnt mean he is going to want all sorts of reptiles when he gets older because that sort of thing totally grosses me out.
