We went to Dad and Carlene's Lake House, as we have for the past 3 or 4 years, for the 4th of July holiday and had a blast! My best friend Ashlee and her someday husband Jeff came out to the house for a couple days and shared in the fun. They purchased lake appropriate attire on their way out in the spirit of 4th of July East Texas style. The whole family came to the lake on Saturday, including my mom, Lee and Leah and we rode the tube... well, I didnt get to, boo hoo... the wave runner and kayaked. Al and I were only allowed on the pontoon boat and the paddle boat, but still managed to have a good time. haha
I also had two baby showers... one at the Lake "The Knocked Up Shower" and one at Ginger's house. We got such cute stuff! Baby Al is going to be very warm and cozy in all of his blankets and fuzzy sheets. And, everything fit in our extra suit case!! I got to see Brittney and Lynsey good friends from highschool and my aunt Amiee and cousin Rachel came in from Austin. It is too bad we didnt have but a couple of hours to hang out, but I am so glad they came! Oh, and my great aunt/godmother Sheila came who I havent seen in years, so it was great to visit with her, albeit brief.
