Katie's Wedding

Cuevas's wedding was a great time and she looked beautiful! Her dad gave an amaizing speech and Al and I danced until I thought my knees were going to fall off. I think he is going to be as good a dancer as his dad... we'll see. haha

My dad was also in town, which was fun. We watched the Cards game on Saturday after the wedding and spent some good quality time together. It has been great weather for the past two days here and it's supposed to be awesome in Washington, DC too! I leave Wednesday morning for a work conference and then I get to stay and see Ash.. so fun! Ill post pics. In the mean time, here are some of the wedding.

Weekend Fun?

Well, this weekend was kind of boring. Al and I did watch a great movie on Friday called August Rush. Very emotional. Beau was out of town Tursday through Sunday at the horse races in KY. So fun! It was actually for business, but really.. horse races.. business... kind of a dream job if you ask me. Where's my trip to Lexington? haha
I did have to work on Saturday for one of our biggest personal care item drives and my company sent me to Imperial, MO... so does that count?
I also started reading a book called Super Baby Foods which is awesome. I would really like to make my own baby food, but we will see how that works out. I went to Whole Foods on Sunday, which was a big no-no bc you cant even maneuver the aisles it is so crowded. Anyway, my whole point was to find out how much their baby food and formula was.. and it is pricey, but you know to me it is worth it. It uses all organic ingredients and has no high fructose corn syrup in it... maybe you think I am crazy, but I really think it is important.
I am also reading a book called "Feeding the Future: Fat to Famine" which is really good. It gives everyday solutions for living a greener life... talks about the beef industry, the fishing industry, world famine, etc...just interesting. Not that I am going to run out and do all of these things, but good to know.
Ok.. thats all for this long boring entry.

May dad comes on Friday and I am sooooo excited!!

Another first...

I went to Lake Perryville for one of my best friend bachelorette parties this weekend and we had such a good time! We go down there on Friday and just hung out talking and making dinner all night. Around 11pm Al was really moving around and I put my hand on my stomach as I was sitting at the table. All of a sudden, boom, I felt him kick me from the outside... so cool. But it was just once and I havent felt it since. I cant wait until he starts doing that more, it is the greatest feeling! Beau had hos hand on my stomach for a long time when I got back into town bc he wants to feel him kick, but Al wasnt having any of that... he'll do it when he wants to do it, damn it! haha

It was also Hunter's 1st bday yesterday and he ate a whole cup cake by himself... so cute. I will download some pics as soon as I get my computer/camera connector. And, our neighbor friends had their baby yesterday too! So exciting... her name is Winnie Gray. We are waiting anxiously to meet her.

We are now off to Baby's RUS to look around and then going to meet the family for dinner because Beau's cousin Katie is in town. It will be good to visit with her as we havent seen her since the wedding. She is passing through St. Louis on her move back to Denver.
Thats all for now!

A kick... or not?

Well, work is super busy right now and I have another intern which is why I havent had time to post lately. Since last thursday I have been feeling these weird feelings in my lower abdomen.. at complete random and only once or twice then they go away. I think its the baby? I cant wait until I can really know that is what it is! All this maybe, mabe not business is driving me crazy. Soon...
So, some exciting news.. our neighbor friends are having their baby today! We will have a new baby girl living right next door in just a couple days. I cant wait! This will hopefully tide me over until our baby is finally here.
I am off to a lake in Perryville MO after work for a bachelorette party for one of my greatest friends, Cuevas, who will be tying the knot in a couple of weeks! Should be fun. It is also little Hunter's first birthday tomorrow so he will get a taste of the good life with his first piece of cake! Yeay!
